Hello friends! I hope that this bizarre holiday season is going as well as it can for you and your families.
As we are approaching the end of the year, I would implore you to please check your auto insurance declarations pages to confirm what your uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage limits are. Last month, I had two wonderful clients with $100,000/$300,000 liability limits, but only $12,500/$25,000 in uninsured/underinsured coverage! This means that if my client was seriously injured by a driver without insurance, or with low limits, that they would only be able to receive $12,500 in compensation if the at-fault driver was uninsured. This will not protect you, or your family! A simple emergency room visit in Akron or Cleveland after a car accident can easily cost $12,500 or much more! Another way to look at it is if you are life-flighted to a hospital, that ride can easily cost between $25,000 and $60,000 all by itself! The bare minimum uninsured/underinsured coverage that you should have is $100,000/$300,000. Uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage is very affordable. Increasing your limits will only create a very minor increase in your premiums. If you have questions about your declarations page, I would be happy to discuss with you at anytime. I'm not in the business of selling insurance, I'm in the business of making sure that when you are hurt by someone else's negligence, that you are able to recover for everything that you have been through and how your life has been changed. Call or text me at 330-576-5006 if you'd like to discuss! Wishing you continued health. Alexander L. Pal
